Believe it or not, I have a testimony to share, but I haven\u2019t quite gotten around to it yet. Part of the reason is that I simply don\u2019t have the words yet, and when I try, I find myself lost in thanksgiving, with very little writing actually completed. Watch this space; one day, it will emerge on my blog. Anyway, I woke up today remembering this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the time when I watched my children endure the pain of sickness, I had conversations with God, even though I could barely find time to spend with Him. The situation consumed me. While doctors could explain the genetics behind it, I still knew that my children were created by God, and I recognized Him as loving, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. So, each time tears welled up over the situation, I couldn\u2019t fathom why He wasn\u2019t intervening. There were truths I hadn\u2019t fully grasped, and as a result, the circumstances remained unchanged. I\u2019ll delve into this further later, but the bottom line is that God was waiting for me to exercise my authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What provided solace was my recognition that something didn\u2019t align with His character. He is loving, ever-present, and all-powerful, and I am His child\u2014yes, His child! He is inherently good, desiring to grant our requests. However, it is crucial for me to&nbsp;<strong>stand firm in faith<\/strong>, believing that He has already answered my prayers the very moment I utter them. His character remains unwavering, even when circumstances appear unfavourable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consider this: just as I wouldn\u2019t intentionally give my children harmful gifts like sickness, poverty, or death,\u00a0<strong>neither does God<\/strong>. In fact, because He is the ultimate parent, He\u00a0<strong>lavishes us with every good thing<\/strong>.\u00a0I will say it again,Every good 2:32<\/strong>&nbsp;reassures us: \u201cFear not, little flock, for it is your Father\u2019s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.\u201d This verse emphasizes God\u2019s desire to bestow good things upon us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>James 1:17<\/strong>&nbsp;reinforces this truth: \u201cEvery good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.\u201d Indeed, God\u2019s character remains unwavering, and His blessings flow abundantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And let\u2019s not forget&nbsp;<strong>Psalm 84:11<\/strong>: \u201cNo good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.\u201d As we walk in alignment with Him, He graciously provides all that is good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>With this in mind, it is crucial to acknowledge and embrace the truth that God desires to bestow every good thing upon us<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;It brings Him pleasure, and it is inherent in His character as&nbsp;<strong>Jehovah Jireh<\/strong>\u2014our provider. His faithfulness remains unwavering, and He diligently watches over His word to fulfill what it promises. Consider this: He even sacrificed His only Son; why, then, would He withhold anything from us?
